Right Angle Shaft

Below are the units available from Renold Gears with right angle shaft configurations.  Most units are offered as a modular design with hollow output bore , or the option of plug-in output shaft.

All wormshafts are precision hardened and ground with centrifugally cast wormwheel rims electron beam welded to their centre, for high efficiency and strength.

Available with 12 standard ratios up to 160:1 with a maximum output torque of 12000Nm.

Available with 4" - 9" centres and ratios of 5:1 to 70:1 as a single reduction unit and 75:1 to 4900:1 as a double reduction.  Foot, flange and shaft mounted types available.

Tandler Gear - pic 28

Tandler Spiral Bevel Gearboxes:
Precision engineered with minimal backlash, for quiet running and shock absorption, Ratios are from 1:1 to 5:1 with power ratings up to 275kW. Units are available with solid or hollow output shafts whilst branch-off gearing and speed modulation make Tandler ideal where drive sychronisation is essential.  Tandler units are used extensively in the printing and paper industries.
